Known also as Gibeault, Ginette is an artist, a sailor, and a yoga teacher. She lives and travels with her husband and son since 1987. This life gives her freedom and helps her to be more in contact with the nature. Ginette start to paint at a very young age and love to be creative.

Born in Montréal, Canada. She graduated from college and studied for two years in advertising, then three years at the Graphic Art School in Montréal. She worked in Graphic Design for a period of five years in Montréal for different companies, such as newspapers, printers and publishers.

She came to live in the United States, in Florida, in the 80 s, after traveling in Mexico and Central America for a period of 9 years. Ginette feel inside a passion: painting. She starts with watercolor and change rapidly to acrylic and mixte medium. Over the years, Gibeault studied with many Artists in United States, : Miles Batt, Patt Dew, Virginia Cobb, Carla O’Connor, Skip Laurence, Dianne Nance, Robert Burridge, and others.

At the beginning of the 90’s, she became a member of the Gold Coast Water Color Association of Fort Lauderdale and became their 1st Vice President. She was responsible of all the exebitions and coordinate their fifteen Annual exhibit in the Coral Spring Museum of Art. Since 2002 she became a member of the Florida Water Color Association as well.

She has exhibited in different places such as the Broward Art of Guild, Art Serve in Fort Lauderdale, Bialy Hall at Nova University, FIU University, Coral Spring Museum, Galleries Yes in Fort Lauderdale, The Green Door Galleries in Miami [ Red Cross event for the 9/11.

In 2003, Ginette become the owner of propriety with studio at St-Lambert de Lauzon in Quebec, Canada. In 2021 she moved in St Etienne de Lauzon and is very happy to reconnect with her root. Ginette Gibeault says: “for me, painting is an expression, a language, an experience. For me, it’s a connection with consciousness the Self, the space where time doesn’t exist and I am so grateful to do what I love the most in my life right now.”
I consider myself as an expressionist; I love shapes, contrasts and colors.
I push myself, so I can learn new ways of seeing and painting.

Painting brings me to a peaceful state of mind; it is the language of the Heart
